El 10 de marzo de 2020, horas antes de que Estados Unidos se detuviera por completo debido a la pandemia, "The Brothers" se reunieron en el Madison Square Garden para celebrar el 50 aniversario de la Allman Brothers Band, el último espectáculo que la banda tocó bajo ese nombre, fue el 28 de Octubre de 2014 en el Beacon Theatre de Manhattan. El concierto resultó ser la última aparición pública para los músicos en el escenario durante todo el año, esto solo agregó misticismo al evento que cerró el libro sobre medio siglo de tradición musical.
